📖Sponsorship Terms and Conditions📝
The Terms and Conditions listed hereunder are bound on all applicants.
1️⃣There is a total of fourteen slots for sponsorship. The sponsorships offered will be limited by the total Sponsorship Fund made available in the year.
For the year 2026 school year, there is a budget📋 for fourteen (14) full scholarships.
2️⃣The sponsorship may be given in full or half package. (100% or 50% of the required amount) depending on level of need. All payments shall be managed on behalf of the student.
3️⃣Priorities will be given to students from financially constrained homes, with inability to foster their continuity with education.
4️⃣The sponsorship shall cover a full academic year i.e. first term, second term and third term.
5️⃣Upon the closure of an academic year, a student shall reapply for extension of their sponsorship accordingly.
6️⃣There shall be continuous evaluation of every student sponsored, for purposes of establishing whether the sponsorship is of benefit to them or not. This will also guide the sponsorship administration on whether a specific individual still falls under the needy category or not.
7️⃣For purposes of the above paragraph, Evaluation shall include class teacher’s remarks, daily assessments, report cards, student’s own progress report and feedback from the student leaders in the same class with the beneficiary, reports of local leaders.
8️⃣Should the sponsorship administration be satisfied that a particular individual no longer falls under the needy category either for reasons such as improved household capital, the affected individual shall be notified of intention to halt and transfer their slot to a truly needy student In the school. This shall be done with clear references to the cause.
9️⃣The sponsorship may be withdrawn if a student is found to have submitted falsified details about him/herself and if the discovery of dishonesty happens before the payments of the student’s dues, the student shall be required to pay for himself.
🔟Students who do not fully utilize the sponsorship shall be asked to consider paying for themselves as that would become misuse of scarce opportunity.
1️⃣1️⃣The sponsorship shall be cancelled upon confirmation that a sponsored student is unwilling to make proper use of it. Once such confirmation is made, a student shall be notified with a copy of his/her evaluation report which shall clearly indicate how he/she may be on their way out of the sponsorship list.
1️⃣2️⃣Failing to make proper use of the sponsorship could mean any of the following;
I. Chronic absenteeism from school without a genuine reason.
II. Persistent misconduct
III. Criminal conduct
IV. Persistent poor performance
V. Failure to communicate with the sponsorship administration by failing to submit progress reports.
1️⃣3️⃣A single child could benefit from either any of those three packages, depending on their level of need or all the above packages.
1️⃣4️⃣This support is purely for the neediest in the society.
You may request the sponsorship of your choice and categorically indicate the same on your application letter.
1️⃣5️⃣The administrators's decision for giving a sponsorship or discontinuing a sponsorship would be final.
📝The following are the guidelines/terms and conditions for applicants;
1. Prior to your qualification for a sponsorship, you will be required to satisfy a number of prerequisites.
2. You shall fill our form in which you will avail us with all the correct information about yourself to the best of your knowledge. The sponsorship application form should be accompanied by your application letter endorsed by your area LC1, two (02) recent passport size photos and a copy of your National ID.
3. You will be expected to undertake a written interview relevant to your qualification for the sponsorship. You will also appear before a panel of interviewers for oral interviews and additional verification.
4. Availability of personal documents is essential. You are required to have your National ID, previous or recent or both School IDs, Admission form to Mbale SS, previous class performance report for an entire academic year or results slips, Fees payment Bank slips whether with full payment or not, LC1 letter and class teacher’s recommendation.
5. Students whose results were withheld for failure of completing fees payments are equally advised to submit their applications.
6. We shall request you to grant us the permission to verify the information acquired through your submissions, by visiting your home, parents and any other sources from whom we can find the reliable and correct information about you.
7. For purposes of accurately documenting actionable rubric, we shall be required to take some photographs of all the applicants, your parents, village house or even the entire family.
8. All information submitted through our forms, and the information gotten from you orally, shall be affirmed to by the signature of your hand.
9. All information obtained from you shall be verified up to local levels with the involvement of local authorities for purposes of eliminating falsehoods.
10. The interviews shall be rated against our scale of assessment. Applicants shall be notified of the outcomes at the end of the assessment period.
